The photo that was taken this week was a small waterfall that was running wild and free. I titled it "The Waterfall of Emotions".

If you are one of the people that has experienced extreme emotion at times in the last while, you are not alone. Many people have expressed that their experience has been in many aspects of their lives. These feelings have even made people rethink a lot of things for themselves. From relationships to even spiritually. Crisis has seem to hit hard in people. Feeling alone or not right because of something that was said or done or even the energy of others and how it makes them feel.

This week on one of my morning walks the Goddess Hathor who is the Lady of the West, made her presence known to me. The west is ruled by emotions, relationships, death and more. But her element is Fire so this amplifies the emotion of sadness, anger, sorrow, helpless and so on. These are some of the emotions that have been felt by many in the last while. People have asked if they are even on the right paths, and if they are good enough. Hathor is a Goddess of beauty and will, she shows us that yes we are good enough because the Gods deem us so. Her message was clear to me that we need to listen more to ourselves and hear the answers that we need for healing, love, and success. Water always puts out the fire, but when we are in time of great sadness or someone kicks us while we are down it seems that the fire never goes out. Fire also gives us the courage to stand up for ourselves when we need to, or the courage to move on when others try and kick us down. We can call upon these energies to help us overcome these emotions and return to a balanced state but only when the lesson is learned will it happen.

It is in times like this we learn to always try and stay humble to the best of our ability for the work that we do. That life may get away from us and for a time we may even feel weak and overcome, but that is to remind us of the lesson that needs to be learned.

But isn't that just it, stop and smell the roses. How many times have our mothers said that to us? How many guru's speak the same thing. So what is it going to take for us as a society to stop and smell the roses and listen to ourselves?

You are not alone, and will never be alone.
The Gods are here to show us just that.

It’s easier said than done sometimes, but sometimes it just needs to be done. Stand up for yourself and allow yourself to say I'm good enough. Stand up for yourself and say no. Don't let others put you down for anything. You have the right to be happy, be loved, be successful and to just be you.

Welcome to Mystic Moons Magical Fuel for the Soul!
This blog was originally created for personal use but then got the sensation that it needed to be for the store and our spiritual journeys and muses. We hope that this blog becomes a place for helping people along their spiritual paths as well as our own.

We wanted to start 2012 with a bang, so I am writing about our journey to England and our experience at Stonehenge, in Salisbury England. 2011 had been an amazing year for Mystic Moons with a few expansions of products and such as well as meeting new people we couldn't have been happier, however our personal lives for 2011 was absolutely horrible. Most of you were no strangers to the affect of the energies 2011 had upon everyone.

I had made a decision to take some time away as my husband was heading to England on business. So on December 27th 2011 my husband and I embarked on a adventure of a life time. Our hearts were heavy with grief and anger as we had lost so many loved ones throughout 2011.

While doing our touristy thing in London we went in search for Metaphysical shops. We came across this little shop called Atlantis Books. It was an enchanted little place that held books from floor to ceiling. Geraldine carried books for all spiritual paths, new books, signed copies and even rare and second hand books. She allowed me to take a few pictures of the artifacts that were in the shop. The story behind Atlantis books is the original owner gave the store to Geraldine’s father. Famous people like Aleister Crowley and other famous Occultist of their time would frequent the shop often. After years of having the store Geraldine’s father sold the business. And about 15 to 20 years ago Geraldine and her daughter bought the business back and have been running ever since. Of course we couldn’t walk out without buying some books to take home

We stayed in a little place called Maidstone in Kent England the first part of our trip. It was a cute little place. I was able to finally meet a lovely lady and her bf who own Black Rabbit Metaphysical shop. Rachel Corbally and I had been corresponding through email for a little over a month before we had arrived in Enland. What a lovely little shop they have, it was so full of warmth, and comfort. She had invited me to come spend some time in the shop and help out while Kevin worked the following week. I took her up on her offer and we made candles with Stewart mixed herbs for greegree bags and helped some people who were in need of spiritual guidance. It was so neat to sit and chat about the differences in our spiritualities but yet similar in a lot of ways. We learned so much from each other, as we shared ideas on handmade crafts making recipes and so forth. It was an experience of a life time.

The weekend before we left to come home we drove 2 hours from Maidstone to Salisbury.
We started our Stonehenge tour at 7:30am with our tour guide named Pat. We drove to Stonehenge and as he was about to point it out to us I could see the outline in the dark. It took my breath away and I had to stop myself from crying.
At 8:45am we were led to the grounds where the stones stand. Its so breath taking that time of the morning. No one there but our small little tour and the security guards. We were still in the wee hours of the morning dawn the Sun hadn't come up yet and the air was cool and clean. Pat allowed us to take a few pictures and explained to us the rules that we needed to follow once we were in amongst the stones. I took a moment for myself to collect my throughts and ask the Gods for a sign for my personal life and a gift to bring back with me for the store.

At 9am we were lead into the stones, standing in the center of the circle was breath taking.
It brough tears to my years. The energies were so strong yet calming. It was so easy to meditate and recieve visions from the Gods. After walking around for about 20 minutes Pat came around the corner and started giving the history of Stonehenge as they know it to be from the Archaeological digs. He even had his visual aid which was a book that was writen for 6 years old. See picture attached. We got a good laugh out of it but it did what he said it would do. LOL It gave us a physical idea of what the stones looked like when they were completed over 5000 years ago. About 10 minutes later Kevin went off and blessed a few gemstones we had on us encluding his pendulum and my witches finger and pentacle. This sacred space was a place of celebration of life and death. Messages that were coming in from the energies and spirits around me was that this where people came to honor those who had passed before them to thank them for their lives. Great celebrations between tribes also seemed to occure here which was later comfirmed by our tour guide Pat from artifacts that they had found in and around the grounds. 

Some parts of the experience at Stonehenge were extremely personal and powerful for me, I was able to see things in a different light, I was able to leave my anger behind of the lives lost in 2011, and I was able to breathe new air, see a new dawn and all with a different vision. For what we mentioned in this blog today was also very impacting and powerful as well. There is a message in there for each and every one of you, just take the time out and listen. :o)

Once we were finished up at Stonehenge Pat Shelley took us on a journey of a life time. We toured the grounds around the stones, learning about the area in depth and what it was used for the most. He took us to a place not far from the stones which they call "Curses" these handmade mounds were extremely large. Pat explained that the people would dig big circles and leave the chalk and flint stone where it lay.  Which would then make the mound; they have been able to determine that mounds were barrel tomes, years ago there were digs there that found signs of barrels, but unfortunately most of what was found was destroyed when it was just dumped back in the tome.

We continued along the country side to where we could no longer see the stones from where we stood.  There was a massive hill in front of us. Pat Shelley stopped us; he explained the path which lay ahead of us was dug like ditches for people to walk along. We walked along the ditches just as our ancestors did over 5000 years ago. The experience was emotional and amazing all at the same time. The link I have found on youtube that is of a tour that someone had done while taking their tour with Pat Shelley. This is an amazing way for you to see a little of what our experience was about, and as I watch the video you can see Pat hold his visual aid book LOL Again this was amazing. It shows the walk we took up to the stones and it shows Pat as a great tour guide educating the people on the Stones. I hope you enjoy watching as much as I did. I can say it brought tears to my eyes as it seems like it was forever ago I was there.

I was able to complete the healing process that I had started for myself while on this journey, the Gods showed me that I need to listen to myself more and pay attention more to the signs that are being given to me. I was able to come home re-energized and hungry to get back to Mystic Moons and share my experiences with those who would like to hear.
